Dr. Stacciarini is an associate professor and the liaison for Community Engagement and Global Affairs at the College of Nursing, University of Florida. She will soon start as Associate Dean of Global Affairs and Director of the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO)/World Health Organization (WHO). She has championed Global initiatives centered around promoting positive engagement (locally and globally) for students, faculty, and staff and enhancing curricular practices and policies that foster a sense of belonging and empower them to be a global citizen. She coordinates the EMBRACE program, which provides research and leadership opportunities for underrepresented students in nursing. Dr. Stacciarini is recognized as an exceptional advisor/mentor, an international educator, and a transformational leader who is diligently working to promote global mental health.
