Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, master in Biodiversity and Nature Conservation, and currently studying for a doctorate at the same institution. My research focus is Ecological Stoichiometry in aquatic ecosystems. In my master's degree I investigated how spatial and environmental variables can influence the chemical composition of bacteria and seston. In my doctorate, my objective is to understand how the stoichiometry of these same organisms behaves in aquatic environments impacted by economic activities such as fish farming, land use and occupation and mining. I also participate in the team of researchers that are part of Bef-Atlantic, a forest restoration and functional diversity project in the Atlantic Forest biome. Furthermore, I am interested and have work in Environmental Education, focused on Basic Education and creating educational games that address the teaching of Science and Biology.
