Luiz’s research is focused in evaluate the impacts of human activities and conservation interventions on biodiversity and ecosystems, he is also interested in biological invasions and bioassessment techniques. Working mainly with impact evaluation, causal inference, counterfactuals, and bioassessments. Luiz also very interested in open science. Currently he is posdoctoral researcher at Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná. Was posdoctoral researcher at Universidade Paulista in the LABIC (Rio Claro, SP, Brazil), at Universidade Federal do Paraná (PR, Brazil) in the LASB, and at Universidade Federal de Goiás (GO, Brazil) in the INCT research group.
