Born and raised in Argentina, Gabriel Rodrigo Caballero holds a PhD in Remote Sensing from the University of Valencia, Spain, where he currently serves as a postdoctoral researcher. His research interests lie in the application of remote sensing techniques to various domains, particularly in agriculture and environmental monitoring. He has extensive experience in developing and implementing remote sensing-based solutions for crop monitoring, water resource management, and deforestation assessment. Apart from his research endeavours, Caballero is actively involved in promoting remote sensing education and outreach. He has been a lecturer in several remote sensing courses and workshops, sharing his knowledge and passion for the field with students and professionals alike. His dedication to education has earned him a reputation as an engaging and knowledgeable instructor.
