Mariano Bresciani is a Senior Researcher in CNR-IREA. MSc in Naturalistic Sciences, PhD in Ecology. Work at CNR-IREA for ‘water quality remote sensing’. Main interests include: retrieval of bio-physical parameters from EO data, hyperspectral signal processing and optical imagery analysis, cal/val activities, atmospheric correction and algorithms implementations. Specialized in the study of cyanobacteria and aquatic vegetation environments and climate change impact on water quality. 20-years’ experience in fieldwork activities, which include spectroradiometric campaigns that have been performed in several environments including lakes, sea, vegetation and corals. Involved in > 30 international projects and > 30 national projects. Author of more 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals. Mariano is responsible of the LTER station lake Garda in Sirmione.
