I'm a PhD student at the Chair of Urban Water Systems Engineering, currently developing my thesis in the DFG Emmy-Neother Junior Research Group “Ecology and Evolution of dark matter fungi in aquatic biofilms” at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. I have also previously worked for a year at the same institution as a Research Assistant and Laser Dissection Microscope (LMD) expert.
I'm mainly focused in understanding aquatic fungi, their biodiversity and functioning through microscopy-, molecular- and bioinformatic-based techniques.
