Master in Biological Sciences (Biophysics) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Postgraduate Program in Biological Sciences (Biophysics), at the Carlos Chagas Filho Institute of Biophysics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in the Laboratory of Ecophysiology and Toxicology of Cyanobacteria. My research is based on developing sustainable strategies for remediation of aquatic environments, with an emphasis on emerging contaminants, cyanobacteria and their toxins.
